On Feb. 8, Columbia Valley Search and Rescue responded to an SOS device activated in the Paradise Ridge area.
The subject had sustained a lower-body injury snowmobiling in the area.
RK Heliski, Cold Stream Helicopters Invermere and Panorama ski patrol helped crews package up the patient and transport them to the Invermere hospital.
