COVID-19 vaccine pop-up clinics coming to Creston and Yahk Drop-in COVID-19

Vaccination clinics will be popping up throughout the week in Creston and Yahk.

No appointments are necessary, so anyone living in the area that is eligible for a vaccine can walk in and receive a first or second dose.

Locations and Times:

Creston:  

– Wednesday, August 11th at Pealow’s Your Independent Grocer, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

– Thursday, August 12th at the Creston Valley Public Library from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

– Saturday, August 14th at the Creston Valley Farmers’ Market (inside the Creston Valley Chamber of Commerce building), from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Yahk:

– Tuesday, August 10th at the Yahk-Kingsgate Community Centre, 8790 Railway Avenue, Yahk, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Anyone in the Creston area born in 2009 or earlier is eligible for a vaccine and people can get their second dose seven weeks or 49 days after their first shot.

Ongoing COVID-19 immunization clinics are also available at the Creston Health Centre on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday between 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and on Wednesdays from 12:30 pm to 7:00 pm.
