Invermere invites residents to comment on draft budget

The District of Invermere is asking for input from residents on its draft 2021 Budget.

The proposed budget includes a 2.5% residential tax increase, which would equate to about a $43.47 annual increase or $3.62 per month, based on the average assessed single-family home assessment of $480,144.

A number of capital works projects are also planned for 2021 in the budget, including renovations to the Fire Hall, replacement of the Johnson Road culvert and a downtown revitalization program, among others.
