The entrance to the Wildstone area of Cranbrook will be reduced to a single lane on Wednesday as crews work on a water main.
The City of Cranbrook said the road will be using single-lane alternating traffic for most of the day while work is underway, which is expected to start at 8 a.m.
People in the are may notice some discolouration in their water once work is done, the City said this is not a health concern and can be fixed by running the cold water tap until it runs clear.
Residents will be able to access their homes via the entrance but may see some minor delays. Drivers are asked to obey directions given by flagging staff on-site.
