Cranbrook Bandits Recognize 2019 Award Winners

The 2019 baseball season is officially in the books for the Cranbrook Bandits following their annual year-end awards BBQ over the weekend, recognizing the team’s Junior and Senior players.

This season, the Junior Bandits made it to the semifinals at the State Invitational Tournament, losing 9-8 to the Kalispell Lakers.

Meanwhile, the Senior Bandits finished fifth at the West “A” District Championship following a 6-3 loss to the Glacier Twins, who would eventually lose to the Mission Valley Mariners in the Championship game.

The Junior MVP award was given to Michael Schieman while Carson Meggison was crowned the Senior team MVP.

As well, Quinn Grist won the Senior team’s defensive award while Greg Rebagliati won the team’s offensive award.

Most Dedicated – Hayden Mastel
MVP – Carson Meggison

As well, the Cranbrook Bandits honoured Alex Smith, Tanner McLean, Carson Meggison, Quinn Grist, Parker Thomson, and Hayden Mastel, all of whom have graduated out of the Bandits baseball program.
